The 3D children's pen is the perfect gadget for children who like to be creative. It's a change from 'normal' drawing, tinkering or gaming!

3D printing and drawing may sound a bit abracadabra, or something that requires a lot of technical know-how, but 'it's child's play'! With this 3D-pen, you can make the most beautiful creations from scratch. Three-dimensional objects are created by drawing.

How does 3D drawing work?

A 3D-pen works on so-called filaments, a type of plastic. You can draw with them.

• You heat the 3D-pen, so that this plastic filling melts when you draw with it.
• The filament becomes flexible, so you can make anything you want with it.
• Once cooled and hardened, you are left with sturdy creations that can take a beating.
• 3D pens are therefore also good to use for repairing toys, for example. Weld' a piece of plastic to or between them, as it were, and a crack or hole is made in no time!

Special 3D-filaments and lower temperature, safe for children

The 3D Children's pen has been designed entirely for children. The special PCL filaments melt at lower temperatures of 80 or 90 degrees. That may still sound hot, but the filament cools down immediately when drawing. 

You can set the temperature yourself. The 3D-pen is wireless and rechargeable. A USB charger is included, as well as three colours of filament (red, yellow and blue). The package also includes three stencils and a transparent drawing mat.
