What is PCL?

PCL stands for Polycaprolactone. It is a biodegradable plastic that does not contain any toxic or otherwise harmful substances. The material is ideally suited for making 3D printed creations.

Filament that melts at lower temperatures

These PCL filaments melt at lower temperatures from 60 degrees and are safe for children. The fabric thus melts quickly and is flexible, but retains its strength. Once cooled, you are left with a robust 3D creation that can take a beating.

What do you use the PCL filaments for?

These PCL filaments are especially suitable for the Kids 3D Pen: a fun gadget for children. The 3D Pen is heated, as a result of which the filament melts and becomes so flexible that you can draw with it. Once cooled down and hardened, you are left with sturdy creations that can take a beating.
