Frequently asked questions about 3D printer Nano

First, straighten the filament and gently push into the feeding hole at the same time, use the other hand to slide the switch(at the back of printer)to “FEED” gear. Then wait about 1 minute (machine is warming up), release the material when feel the filament is caught by the machine. Then wait another 10 seconds to observe if there has “silk” coming from the machine. Slide the switch to middle gear when more silks come out. Till this time, filament fed successfully. If you operate based on the above steps, but no silks come out from nozzle after waiting for more than 5 minutes, please re-power machine and try again.

There needs to warm up when feed and retract operation, In the normal printing, you only need to choose the model and wait about 1 minute, then printer will start work.

Pause printing, then slide the switch to reverse gear, use the hand to pull up the filament. Caution: do this before all the filament is in the feed hole, otherwise there will be no filament left for the hand to pull up). Then put a new filament in the hole and use another hand to slide the switch to the feed gear, wait about 10 seconds for the filament to come down. Then slide the switch to the middle gear and briefly press the push button to resume printing. Please pay special attention that, after feeding for 10 seconds, appropriate slide switch to the middle gear in to avoid the filament pimple appearing in the model.

Yes, third-party slicing software CURA should be used. Please refer to the above step of section 5.0 Online printing (for experts)

First slide the switch to the "retract" gear. The filament will successfully retract in the normal situation, if not, try feeding first, then retracting again. Pay special attention to gently pulling up the material to help until the filament comes out of the printer completely.

Best ingewikkeld, maar eenmaal aan de praat doet ie wat we ervan verwacht hadden

"Onze zoon van 11 heeft van zijn zakgeld deze printer gekocht. Het kostte eerst wel enige moeite om de printer werkend te krijgen (en alles goed af te stellen). Er zit niet een heel duidelijke omschrijving bij. Gelukkig is er online wel wat te vinden (filmpjes en instructies). De bijbehorend software konden we niet installeren. We gebruiken nu de memorystick om de bestanden over te zetten en te printen. Dat gaat prima. Na lang testen en proberen (de printjes werden eerst erg korrelig) kwamen we er achter dat we de instelling van het draad op te dik hadden staan (kom daar maar eens achter). Nu print hij helemaal top! Het ging dus niet zonder slag of stoot, maar inmiddels is onze zoon helemaal blij en rolt het ene naar het andere ontwerp uit de printer. Voor de ontwerpen gebruikt onze zoon Tinkercad en via Ultimaker Cura zetten we de bestanden om en printen we ze uit."
